Ralph K. Treitz
Ralph K. Treitz (born 1957) is the founder, co-owner, and board member of VMS AG (VMS Corp.). He has a degree in Information Science, and as CEO, he is responsible for the areas of services and company development. Ralph Treitz has wide-ranging experience in working with SAP systems and was part of the original SAP R/3 development team in the beginning of the 1990s.
Before founding VMS, Ralph Treitz worked at IMG AG (Switzerland) as the head of technology consulting for Europe. He was responsible at the company for technology and e-Business consulting. Before that, Mr. Treitz worked at SAP AG and had various positions in the areas of development, pre-sales, international marketing, and partner management, and his last position was as Vice President of Executive Marketing.
Ralph Treitz studied Information Sciences at the Technical University in Kaiserslautern, Germany.

Prof. Dr. habil. Andreas Mielke
Prof. Dr. Andreas Mielke (born 1961) is the founder, co-owner and chairman of VMS AG (VSM Corp.), and has been responsible, since the company was founded, for product development.
He has a PhD (and a post-doctoral habilitation) in physics, and since 1994, he has worked on mathematical modelling. Modelling is gaining importance in business, across industries. The use of modelling extends from simple cost models to complex models of dynamic processes. Andreas Mielke developed the benchmarking methods used at VMS.
Andreas Mielke, along with his work at VMS, has been a Professor at the Institute for Theoretical Physics at the University of Heidelberg, Germany since 2001. His research focus is in the area of statistical physics. Andreas Mielke studied in Frankfurt and Heidelberg, where he earned his PhD post-doctoral habilitation qualification. He lived for extended periods of time in Lausanne, Cambridge, Paris, Prague, Budapest, and Vienna during his research career.
