The Supervisory Board

The three members of the supervisory board place their core competences into the service of VMS AG. They represent the views of product research, business development and market needs.

Dr. Anette Weisbecker (chairwoman)

Dr. Anette Weisbecker
 

Priv.-Doz. Dr.-Ing. habil. Anette Weisbecker is a member of the Directorate of the Frauenhofer Institut für Arbeitswirtschaft und Organisation. In addition, she heads the Software Management Competence Center, which supports companies in the conception and creation of complex software-technical products and services. As the chairwoman of the supervisory board at VMS, she supports the scientific development and the company’s orientation for the future.

Before coming to the Frauenhofer Institut für Arbeitswirtschaft und Organisation, she worked for many years in business. Concomitant with her activity for the Institute, she heads the research and application projects in the areas of software management, software engineering, electronic business, and grid computing.

Dr. Weisbecker studied Information Science at the Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany. After her doctorate at the Frauenhofer Institute, she earned her post-doctoral habilitation at the University of Stuttgart, and taught Software Technology and Management at the university level. She has authored multiple publications.

Klaus-Dieter Laidig

Klaus-Dieter Laidig has been the managing director of the Laidig Business Consulting GmbH since 1997. The consulting company for the high tech industry is active in Europe and the U.S. As a member of the supervisory board at VMS, Laidig, who earned a degree in Business Administration, supports the new corporation’s company development efforts.

Klaus-Dieter Laidig worked from 1967 to 1997 for Hewlett-Packard Europe. In the 1980s and 1990s, he worked on building up and expanding HP’s computer system business in Europe. He was also simultaneously the managing director at Hewlett-Packard Germany from 1984 to 1997.

Klaus-Dieter Laidig is a member of multiple supervisory boards, advisory boards, and board of trustees in Germany and in the U.S.. He has been an Honorary Senator of the University of Stuttgart since 1997.

Werner Schultheis

Werner Schultheis
 

Werner Schultheis has been the Director of IT at Randstad Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG since 2002. As a member of the supervisory board of VMS, he will promote the customer and market orientation of the company, with his expertise.

Before his work as the Director of IT, from 1995 on, he had various sales and management positions at Randstad, including the position of Director of Business Development. In that position, he was responsible from 2000 for the strategy and product development of the company. Before his move to Randstad, he started his career in 1991 as a project engineer for wind channel scales and load machines at Carl Schenck AG in Darmstadt, Germany.

In his last position, he centralized all the business applications and implemented SAP as an integrated company platform. In his IT service capacity today, he and his area support Randstadt Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG, the Randstadt subsidiary Vedior, Bindan, Randstad Worknet, Yacht Teccon, and Randstad Switzerland.

Werner Schultheis studied Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University Darmstadt, Germany.
