The adidas Group is represented worldwide through its 150 subsidiaries in all the big world markets. The company with headquarters in Herzogenaurach, Germany, is the largest sportswear manufacturer in Europe and the second largest sportswear manufacturer in the world. adidas AG has been listed on the German Stock Exchange in Frankfurt since 1995.

The sports article manufacturer runs a centralized SAP landscape for the international use of all its logistic processes. VMS analyzed a total of eight SAP system lines in a VMS Report that naturally focused on the retail field.

The result was increased transparency, cost reductions, and the positioning of SAP applications with respect to their business importance for the company as a whole.
