VMS was able to support the drugstore chain during a critical phase. An implementation which, while being “by the book”, was still highly inefficient, and involved a big logistical business process. It led, due to the large retail data volume, to considerable technical problems in the SAP system. VMS developed a new implementation form, using a BW system in an innovative way, in the operative area.
