Impress decor GmbH, as part of an international group of companies, produces alpha cellulose paper, finishing films (waterproofing pre- and post-applications), melamine waterproofing papers (for all groutings, as well as condensates). In 2007, SAP was introduced as the company-wide Enterprise Resource Planning system at the company.

VMS helped the company decide on the right operating form (in-house operation vs. outsourcing), and supported the IT department in selecting an outsourcing service provider. VMS provided the company with a clearly-defined overview, and was able to make the offers comparable, despite the fact that they were very different.
