The Info AG has worked for the past 25 years as an IT outsourcer in the German market. The range of services it offers range from outsourcing, out-tasking, to complete outsourcing in the areas of infrastructure applications, and application services. Despite the vast internal expertise on hand, Info AG asked VMS to run benchmarking for the largest type of customer-run SAP system. Before that, the company had relied on other outside help, without achieving the success that it wanted.
Info AG hoped for information on technical optimization potential and a comparison with respect to the market, of its personnel and technology. VMS first gained an overview of the total system and identified irregularities. Using a detailed benchmark, the reasons for the irregularities were then analyzed, comparing them to best practices. In the final report, VMS provided actionable recommendations and made clear how the expenses compare with what is typical in the market.
