Personnel provider Randstad Germany has approximately 44,000 employees, about 420 subsidiaries in over 220 cities, and a sales volume of 1.307 billion euros (2006). In 2006 and 2007, VMS carried out benchmarks of the SAP systems at Randstad. The systems were analyzed in terms of performance and cost compared to the market and to best practices.
When the company was searching for an outsourcing service provider, VMS took on the job of project controlling, and through its benchmarking, provided the basis for the right selection. VMS was able to diagram how the company IT worked, and put that into exact figures, and by doing that, the customer requirements could be precisely represented for the service provider.
