Schüco International KG, headquartered in Bielefeld, Germany, is the number one manufacturer in Europe of building exteriors, and manufactures systems for plastics, aluminum, and steel windows, as well as sliding doors and house doors. It also manufactures glass exteriors and solar systems, as well as solariums, balconies, and blinds and shutters.

In 2007/2008 Schüco replaced various legacy systems, in multiple phases, with SAP. Service levels were defined between IT and the applications, which were valid on Day 1 of the Going Live date, which is not how it usually is set up.

VMS supported Schüco all the way from preparation, to going live. Productive applications were subjected to a rigorous quality and performance check - as well as for the modules that were in preparation for the next rollout. A VMS forecast revealed a need for tuning in the operation system, database, and SAP application. VMS provided the analysis of weak points and their causes, and Schüco IT carried out the required work.
The success proved the Schüco/VMS team right: the productive settings were carried out without any problems. The users were able to work with the new applications from the first day, and under optimal conditions.
