Stadtwerke Erfurt GmbH (SWE) is a public utility energy provider in the city of Erfurt, Germany. SWE is the largest public utility in the German state of Thuringia and is one of the most successful companies in the region.
Stadtwerke Erfurt has more than 20 branch locations and employs approximately 2,000 people, of which almost 1,000 are SAP users. An internal IT subsidiary supports over ten SAP lines (within the company, as well as a third-party business).
