Vattenfall Europe AG, Berlin (Germany)

Vattenfall AG is the fifth-largest energy provider and the largest heating provider in Europe. The company produces, distributes, and sells energy to six million customers throughout Europe.

VMS analyzed the SAP application of the company’s subsidiary, Vattenfall Information Services, in the area of Finance and Logistics.
The objective was to investigate the cost-effectiveness of the IT services provided centrally by Vattenfall Information Services’ for more than 60 group member companies, and to identify the optimization potential. With the results obtained, VMS found that Vattenfall Europe Information Services could achieve cost savings of over 15 per cent.
