The VMS benchmark base covers all critical structural parameters of SAP landscapes. It includes not only the conventional ERP area but also the rather more specialized SAP applications, such as BW, CRM, SRM, APO, XI, portals, etc.
And the database contains a broad range from all industries: discrete parts manufacturing, process manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, consumer packaged goods, services, IT services, financial services, trading, media, and energy. Companies of differing sizes (ranging from multinationals to the mid-sized business sector) are also represented in the data-pool.
The VMS benchmark base also contains various different business models, such as owner-operated businesses, outsourcing, near-shoring, and off-shoring.
