What does “action-oriented” really mean ?

Benchmarks sometimes have the reputation of merely producing numbers and lopsided comparisons. That is not the case with us. A benchmark that for example just shows that the hardware is 20% more expensive than the industry average, is really only of very dubious value.

Of course, a benchmark initially does produce numbers. But the numbers can never be the final result for the customer. You can expect answers from us, that point to clear action options, that are based on the numbers.

In sports, that approach is known as “action-orientation”. What would it help a football player, if he only heard from his coach, that most forwards in his class score a goal more often than he does ? A good coach knows exactly what an athlete has to change in order to score more often - and he can communicate it so that the athlete can put it into practice.
